Zombie Ass trailer

I’ve always maintained that Japan produces the highest, most beautiful forms of art and the lowest, most vile. Zombie Ass is firmly in the second camp. It looks to me like it might be the stupidest, most offensive movie ever produced and I am not sure if that makes me want to see it or if it makes me want to run screaming away from it as quickly as I can. Hmmm. We are presented with many obstacles in life. I just hope they say “danger” throughout the film as much as they do throughout the trailer. That’s the best part.

DANGER. DANGER.

Duck Sauce’s “Big Bad Wolf”

You’ll remember Duck Sauce from last year’s ridiculously huge hit “Barbara Streisand”. Well, the American/Canadian DJ duo of Armand Van Helden and A-Trak are back with this absurd NSFW video for their new track “Big Bad Wolf”. Is it as catchy as “Barbara Streisand”? I’m not sure. Do I like it? I do. It’s definitely a less funky track, more house, darker. I will have to listen on good speakers and not the shitty headphones I have on right now.

Jury’s out.

So, like, uh, I guess people are all into this Battles group and stuff. They’re all right, I suppose. I dig the video, though. It’s right along the same lines as the videos for El Guincho’s “Bombay” and Scissor Sisters’ “Invisible Light”. Also, unsurprisingly, it was made by the same folks.

NSFW for those of you whose places of work don’t tolerate naked women eating ice cream in the bath tub. I feel sorry for you. Get better jobs.

This came out yesterday, so I assume that everyone on the internets has already seen it. Nevertheless, I wanted to share it with you all. Here it is.

Die Antwoord is back with “Rich Bitch” featuring my favorite electro hip hop hamster dressed in a gold cat suit taking a piss on a gold toilet. Keep is classy, Die Antwoord. If you get a chance to see these guys live, do it. Totally amazing show.

As always, this video could be considered not work safe if you work in a horrible place that frowns upon awesomeness.

Scissor Sister’s “Invisible Light”

The Scissor Sisters rock it with “Invisible Light” (which could easily be mistaken for a Pet Shop Boys track) from their 2010 album Night Work. The song is pretty great, and, if the video seems a little familiar in format to you, then you’ll not be surprised to discover that it was put together by the same team that did El Guincho’s “Bombay”. This is like the upper class European version of El Guincho’s hipster video. Make sense? I know it does.

Enjoy, and watch it when there are no disapproving eyes around.

Turbo Sonidero Futuristico’s “Donador de Organo” & Mexicans With Guns’ “Dame Lo” by System D-128

I found this video on the MadDecent blog today and, though it is amazing, I had this sneaking feeling that I’d seen parts of it before. Using my super interweb skillz (I went to the original Vimeo page), I found that it does indeed recycle footage from another short film I’d seen called “Dame Lo”.

I searched here to see if I’d posted it before, and I was surprised to discover that I had not. I have no idea why I hadn’t because it’s absolutely worth watching. To make up for my earlier mistake, I present both here to you now. Besides some not entirely great all the time acting, “Dame Lo” slays. Also, check the Spanish dubstep. I love it.

Mind that these are both music videos and while I usually post videos independently of each other, they’re both made by the same dude and share footage, so it made sense to post them together. I think that once you watch both, it will make sense to you too. Also, they’re potentially NSFW (as is almost everything else on this blog) so caveat emptor.

Oh my god, I know, I’ve posted a video for this song before. But unlike the old video, I was at this show. This was shot Friday night at the after party I referred to in the letter to Big Freedia. It was somewhere around 3, 3:15 in the morning at this point and it was hot as fucking balls in that place.

Totally totally awesome.

Of course, as with anything of hers I post, this is potentially NSFW.
