Do you like to have fun?

Do you like to have fun in the dark?

Do you like to have fun in the dark with loud music pumping through your bones?

Do you like to have fun in the dark with loud music pumping through your bones as you make questionable decisions that you will not doubt regret the next day if not the rest of your life?

Do you like to have fun in the dark with loud music pumping through your bones as you make questionable decisions that you will not doubt regret the next day if not the rest of your life yet everything seems so magically grimy and wonderful that you couldn’t imagine being anywhere else and all you want is for the night not to end because so long as you are moving there is trouble to be made and trouble to be found and trouble to hear about and you would die a million deaths if you missed a second of the debaucherous madness into which the night has descended?

Well, if you’re anything like me, then this video fills you with a big old “Yes” to that last question. Gigantic yes. YES.

Charles showed me this video a few months ago, but, again, I never got around to sharing it with you guys. Why not? I just don’t know. It’s perfect Black Laser material. Anyway, I saw them covered on BoingBoing yesterday, but I didn’t connect the BB article with the video Charles showed me. I asked him about, “that awesome video that makes me want to party so hard my face falls off,” and he immediately replied, “The Bloody Beatroots Cornelius.” So here we are, enjoying the fruits of my inability to fully remember something but having a friend who does.

The Bloody Beatroots are an Italian electro duo who’ve put out a few EPs, a self-released record, and a studio record on Dim Mak. I haven’t heard the studio record yet, but I am digging on the EPs and self-released hard right now. Check them out.
